I must hurry before my mom comes back.” 5 yr old Joy said as she bury her 2 wks old brother alive that afternoon.

“Hello, Dad, I’m almost done burying the baby,” little Joy said over the phone.

“Very good, dear. Make sure you cover the soil properly. Your mother must not find out,” Mr. Daniel replied in a low voice to his five-year-old daughter.

Meanwhile, Joy’s mother, Mrs. Favour, was at the market that afternoon buying foodstuff. Unaware, her five-year-old daughter was in the backyard, burying her newborn baby brother alive.

HOW IT STARTED…

It all began just two weeks after Mrs. Favour gave birth to her second child, a baby boy. Mr. Daniel was overjoyed. Proud and excited, he invited friends and family to celebrate.

But in the middle of the celebration, everything changed.

Mrs. Favour received a shocking call from Joy’s school. Her little daughter, only five years old, was missing. No one could explain how it happened.

Without wasting a second, she and her husband rushed to the school.

They searched everywhere—classrooms, playground, toilets—but Joy was nowhere to be found. Then the school authorities checked the CCTV footage. What they saw only deepened the mystery. Joy had been seen in the hostel that night, but no one knew where she went afterward.

The police got involved. For three long days, they searched, but little Joy was not found.

Mrs. Favour was shattered. She cried day and night. She became so broken she could barely care for her newborn son.

Then her mother-in-law suggested something unusual.

“Let’s go and see a pastor,” she said.

With no other option left, the couple agreed.

The pastor listened carefully, then gave them a strange instruction. He told them to travel to a faraway place called Ijegu, cook two bags of rice, and feed homeless children there. According to him, that was the only way they would find their missing daughter.

Mr. Daniel and his wife did not understand, but they were desperate. They hired a nanny to care for their newborn and left for Ijegu.

BUT UNKNOWN TO THEM… EVERYTHING HAD ALREADY BEEN PLANNED. IT WAS A SETUP.

That night, the nanny was alone in the house with the baby, eating the rice left behind. Suddenly, she heard a strange sound coming from the kitchen. Confused, she placed the baby on the bed and went to check.

Before she could return…

Five-year-old Joy entered the room.

The same Joy who had been missing for three days.

She walked to the food the nanny was eating and quietly added something to it. Then she hid in a corner and watched in silence.

The nanny came back, sat down, and continued eating.

Within minutes, she fell into a deep sleep.

Joy slowly stepped out, smiling.

She picked up her baby brother and ran outside to the backyard. Without wasting time, she began digging into the ground as fast as she could.

When the hole was deep enough, she gently placed the baby inside.

Then she started covering the soil.

Fast. Careful. Silent.

“I must hurry before my mom comes back,” little Joy said as she buried her two-week-old brother alive that afternoon.

Then she picked up a phone and made a call.

“Hello, Dad, I’m almost done,” she said calmly.

“Very good, dear. Make sure you cover the soil properly. Your mother must not find out,” Mr. Daniel replied in a low voice.

Far away in Ijegu, Mr. Daniel and his wife were still feeding homeless children, believing they were doing the right thing.

Unaware that, back at home, the life of their newborn baby was in terrible danger….

Mr. and Mrs. Daniel had traveled to a far town in Ijegu to feed homeless children. They believed it would help them find their missing daughter, Joy, who had disappeared from her school hostel. That was what the pastor told them to do.

Unknown to them… the same pastor was behind everything.

It all started when a man who claimed to be a pastor, Mr. Victor, came to Joy’s boarding school for a prayer session. The school usually allowed pastors to pray for the students, so no one suspected anything.

But this man was not a real pastor.
