Creamy Flan Cake (Melts in the mouth)

 

1️⃣ Vanilla Sponge Cake (2 layers)
Ingredients
5 large eggs (room temperature)
150 g sugar
150 g all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
50 ml milk
40 g melted butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Preparation
1️⃣ Beat eggs and sugar for 8–10 minutes until light and fluffy (very airy).

2️⃣ Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt.

3️⃣ Gently fold into the egg mixture (do not deflate).

4️⃣ In a separate bowl, mix milk, butter, and vanilla extract.

5️⃣ Slowly add to the egg mixture and fold gently. Pour into a greased and floured 24 x 18 cm rectangular cake pan.

6️⃣ Bake at 170°C (340°F) — 30 to 35 min.
Cool COMPLETELY.

🍮 2️⃣ FILLED FLAN
Ingredients
800 ml evaporated milk or whole milk
1 can sweetened condensed milk (395 g)
5 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Caramel
120 g sugar
3 tablespoons water
Preparation
1️⃣ Make amber caramel.

2️⃣ Pour into a 24 x 18 cm (9 x 7 inch) rectangular pan.
3️⃣ Blend all the flan ingredients (without foam).
