👮‍♀️🌇 Today I put on this uniform and felt something I can’t quite explain. I dreamed of this moment for years, silently, while learning to be strong on my own. I trained, I worked, I persevered… even when there was no one waiting for me at the end of the day. No hugs, no applause, no “we’re with you” from the crowd. 🥹 But when I looked at my badge, I understood something: this isn’t just a job. It’s a promise. A promise to care for those who feel invisible, to appear when fear weighs heavily, and to help when it’s needed most. 💙

Many congratulations, may God bless you greatly today and always. I already wore that uniform; I’m a retired police officer. Take care.
