He Was Thrown Out By His Stepmother Then Found Money. What He Did Will Shock You

Just as Obie had promised, the surgery was scheduled immediately. Hours later, the doctor came out of the operating room with a tired but happy smile.

“The surgery was a complete success. Obie, your father will be fine.”

Obie felt a wave of relief rush over him. Tears of joy shone in his eyes.

“Thank you, Doctor. You saved his life.”

Days passed, and Obie remained by his father’s side. Once his father was well enough to leave the hospital, Obie had another surprise.

He did not take his father back to the old, unhappy house. Instead, he had rented a beautiful home in a quiet and peaceful part of the village. It had a large garden, bright rooms, and a warm, welcoming feeling.

“Father,” Obie said gently, helping his still-weak father inside, “this is your new home. You will recover here, far away from all the bad memories.”

His father, still weak but slowly regaining his senses, looked around the lovely house with confusion and gratitude.

“Obie, what is this place?”

Obie smiled. “Don’t worry, Father. Just rest. Everything will be all right now.”

His father could hardly believe what he was seeing.

Obie knew his father’s sickness was not only physical. The doctor had mentioned a strong poison, but Obie believed dark magic was involved as well. He knew what to do. Quietly, he summoned a famous traditional healer from a nearby village, a wise old man known for helping people harmed by dark magic.

The healer arrived carrying a bag of herbs and old tools. Obie explained everything about his father’s sudden illness.

“The dark arts are powerful, young one,” the healer said, stroking his long beard. “But a son’s love is stronger. I will do what I can.”

He spent several days in the new house performing special rituals. Obie watched with hope as the healer worked.

Slowly, day by day, his father began to improve. The confusion in his eyes faded. His strength returned. His mind grew sharp again.

One morning, his father sat up in bed and looked at Obie with clear eyes.

“Obie, my son,” he said, his voice strong again, “I remember everything. Your stepmother, how cruel she was, how she treated you and me. It is as if my eyes have been opened again.”

Obie knelt by the bed and took his father’s hand.

“I knew you were not truly gone, Father. I had to come back for you.”

His father’s eyes filled with tears.

“You saved me, my boy. You truly saved me. How did you manage all of this—the hospital, this house, everything?”

Obie smiled gently. “Don’t worry about that now, Father. Just focus on getting your strength back. We have a new beginning here.”

A deep sadness mixed with growing determination filled his father’s heart.

“Thank you, my son. You saved me. I owe you more than you can imagine.”

Just a few days after his father had fully recovered, he received a phone call. It was from an old friend, a smart and honest lawyer.

“My friend,” the lawyer said urgently, “I have shocking news. Your wife is trying to sell your house—the big one. She is about to sign a contract with a buyer.”

Obie’s father was furious.

“Sell my house? The family home? The house I built myself? That is impossible. I never agreed to such a thing. She cannot sell my property.”

“I know,” the lawyer said. “That is why I called you immediately. I have a bad feeling about this. These papers look suspicious. You need to come to my office at once.”

“We are on our way,” Obie’s father said without hesitation.

Now fully recovered and thinking clearly, he rushed to meet the lawyer, with Obie by his side.

At the lawyer’s office, the man spread out a pile of documents on his desk.

“Look at these,” he said, pointing to various signatures and stamps. “Your wife has been using fake documents. These signatures are not yours, and these official stamps are forged. She is trying to sell your property illegally.”

Obie’s father stared at the papers in shock and anger.

“This is terrible. She forged my signature. This is a crime.”

Standing beside him, Obie felt both anger and relief. His stepmother’s true nature was finally being exposed.

“This is all the evidence we need,” the lawyer said. “We must inform the police immediately.”

Within hours, the police became involved. They examined the documents and confirmed that they were fake. They confronted Obie’s stepmother.

She tried to deny everything, shouting and protesting, but the evidence was overwhelming.
