Today I’m here, in a hospital bed, trying to smile… but sometimes the hardest thing isn’t the pain. It’s the silence. I live with a disability, and I know what it’s like to feel heavy stares, or people who look away as if my existence makes them uncomfortable. I’ve learned that there are wounds you can’t see: when you’re treated as if you don’t matter, as if you don’t deserve the same affection.  But I’ve also learned something precious: a small gesture can save an entire day. A kind word. An “I’m with you.” A simple “hello” that says: I see you, I respect you, you matter.  If you’ve made it this far… if you can… just say “hello.” That’s all. Today I need to feel that I’m not alone. 🤍🙏
